APL Launch New TechLoom Wave Sneakers | News

US based footwear brand APL (athletic propulsion labs) have been blurring the lines between function and fashion since they launched their controversial Concept 1 basketball trainer. Banned by the NBA due to “providing an undue competitive advantage” this was the start of Co-Founders Adam and Ryan Goldston’s journey to becoming globally recognised as a go-to brand for athletic footwear. Today the brothers launched their TechLoom Wave sneakers, a new soft silhouette designed for comfort and performance.

The New TechLoom Wave is the latest running sneaker to be added to the APL collection. The high-elastic 3D stretch upper fabric is designed to move with your feet and a durable rubber outsole provides comfort whilst you run. Designed not only for performance but also style there is an integrated lace loop that allows you to tuck in the laces or for a streamlined look the laces can be removed completely.

“The Techloom Wave combines a number of innovations from our previous running silhouettes into one shoe. For the first time, we are introducing 3-Dimensional Stretch Rebound Techloom which features textured waves for structure and support as well as flat valleys in-between for incredible stretch ability and comfort. The inspiration for this design feature and the name of the silhouette is the ebb and flow of the tide in the ocean. In addition to our newest upper innovation, the Techloom Wave features an internal support structure and is the first shoe we’ve created that was designed to be worn with or without laces, giving it the most versatility and wearability possible.“
