Adidas by Stella McCartney 2020

The Adidas by Stella McCartney 2020 collection launched today and Lourdes ‘Lola’ León, Madonna’s daughter, co-directed the campaign with Anna Pollack. Set on wetlands in New York the acompanying video captures snapshots of dancing and urban life in New York City.

Stella McCartney first introduced the adidas collaboration in 2004 and has been launching stylish, sustainable activewear ever since. The clean aesthetics is mixed with high-tech performance fabrics that can be worn for everything from running through to yoga.

The new collection is a perfect capsule workout wardrobe consisting of cropped tops, leggings, and sports bras in monochrome shades as well as a standout snow leopard print. As with all of Stella McCartney’s collections, the impact on the environment is always considered and these pieces are no exception.

The new collection uses PRIMEBLUE, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic, and PRIMEGREEN, a series of high-performance recycled materials, as part of adidas by Stella McCartney’s ambition to end plastic waste.
